Cry of the giraffe

Thirteen-year-old Wuditu, separated from her family when soldiers take her and others from a refugee camp in Sudan where they had been waiting and hoping for transport to Yerusalem, keeps her dream of being reunited with her loved ones alive as she deals with the humiliation and fear of slavery.
