Chi is growing up and now that she has a sense of her new surroundings, the little shorthair is ready to make this new neighborhood her own and with the help of her furry feline friend Cocchi she embarks on some of her more ambitious trips yet.

Follows the adventures of Chi, a mischievous kitten who is adopted by Yohei and his family, the Yamadas, even though their lease explicitly states pets are not allowed in their building.

Chi is moving to a new address, someplace where cats can play to their heart's content without having to worry about nosey managers and mean, hungry, bully cats.

Chi, a newborn American shorthair, becomes separated from its mother while out walking and is taken in by the Yamadas, who soon become attatched to the kitten even though they are not supposed to have pets in their apartment.

Mr. Yamada spots a poster looking for a lost kitten that looks a lot like Chi and he and his wife wonder if they can bear to separate their son from the cute little kitten they have all come to love. Meanwhile, Chi comes closer to finding out just how close by her feline family really is.

Chi, a feral kitten taken in by the Yamada family, is exploring her new neighborhood with feline friend Cocchi when a downpour washes away the scents they were counting on to guide them home, and unable to find anything to eat, the two are forced to take desperate measures.

Chi has adventures around the neighborhood with a local cat, and they get trapped in an old man's shed.
