How I survived middle school

When school at Joyce Kilmer Middle School is cancelled due to a snowstorm, Jenny is the only student who is not excited because her former best friend Addie, whose mom has to work, is spending the day at Jenny's house.

Jenny cannot wait for the sixth and seventh graders' sleepover at Camp Einstein, but when Jenny and her friends learn they have to share a cabin with Pops Addie and Dana, they fear their fun time will be ruined by rivalries and jealousy.

When Jenny's friends start their own webcast, and it becomes popular, the Pops start a rival show and begin a ratings war, starring the Pops' fashion show against Jenny's friends' karaoke contest.

Sixth graders Jenny McAfee and Addie Wilson have very different personalities but they team up in an effort to make their class dance a success.

It's fall spirit week and the Pops have established their own exclusive "pep squad" complete with matching outfits!.
