Detective Alex cross is forced to put his wedding with Bree on hold when he is called upon to investigate the murders of a corrupt congressman and a shady lobbyist; as the gunman continues his spree, FBI agent Max Siegel is called in, and he and Alex fight over jurisdiction while Alex's adversary, Kyle Craig, threatens Alex's family.
