Zoids

Van, a boy growing up on Planet Zi--a world in which the native metal-bodied lifeforms have been turned into fighting machines by humans--longs to follow in the footsteps of his late father, a famous Zoid pilot, and it looks as though he may get his chance when he finds a newborn Zoid in the ruins.
