Sarah and the people of Sand River

Sarah, a girl born and raised in a small cabin in New Iceland, is sent by her father to live with a family in a faraway city where he believes she will learn to speak English, but the lady of the house is very mean to Sarah and only the magical gifts of a mysterious raven and a native man and woman make it possible for her to survive.
