Ambitious young accountant Ivan Davis's plan to promote business network events among the rich and famous in southern California brings him to the attention of Lucina Gallo, reigning diva of San Diego's nightlife culture, and they form a partnership that is so successful Ivan is soon unable to draw a line between business and pleasure, and begins to wonder how much money and power is enough.
