Julie of the wolves

A thirteen-year-old Eskimo girl runs away from her arranged marriage in search of a new, modern life in San Francisco and gets lost in Alaska's North Slope region, where she is gradually welcomed into a wolf pack, fights the elements for her survival, and faces her inner conflict regarding her identity.
