The Hob's bargain

Aren, a young woman of Fallbrook, a land where magic has been banished, risks her life by revealing that she has had visions of mayhem and murder raining down upon the villagers, and her situation is further complicated when she strikes a difficult bargain with the Hob, a magical humanlike creature, promising to mate with him in exchange for his help.
