Vortex

Tom and his friends have risen to midlevel cadets, and World War III, fought remotely through video game-like controls in the Pentagonal Spire, is still raging. When Tom learns that his superior officers are about to ask him to betray his ideals and friendships for the good of his country, he looks for a way to preserve his honor and fight the corruption he has witnessed.
