Girl in Dior
February 12, 1947 brings everyone who is anyone in Paris fashion to Avenue Montaigne to witness the first fashion show of Christian Dior, whose new look launches the genius of Haute Couture. After World War II, and the devastation of the German occupation, Paris is ready for beauty again. In the audience is Clara, a young fashion reporter who becomes a designer with the House of Dior, and this is her charming story told with elegant, fashion-design pictures.
