The bear ate your sandwich

A bear--or so the mysterious narrator leads a young girl to believe--comes all the way from the forest into a city park, where he discovers a sandwich alone on a bench. Being hungry the bear eats it, but a pack of dogs notices him and he high-tails it out of the city before the sandwich owner can catch him--or so the narrator says.
