a memoir

R.H. Miller recalls his life in World War II era Ohio as the oldest of four sons born to deaf parents, discussing the family's experiences on his paternal grandparents' farm, and in Toledo where his father worked for a time in manufacturing, and telling of the hardships and prejudices they all faced as a result of his parents' deafness.
