In the next Tenka'ichi Bud?okai tournament, Son Goku and his friends face tougher opponents in the contest for the "Strongest Under the Heavens" title, including Chaozu and three-eyed Tenshinhan, deadly disciples of Tsuru-Sen'nin, the Crane Hermit, who happens to be an old rival of Son Goku's teacher Kame-Sen'nin, the Turtle Hermit. The contest between crane-style and turtle-style kung fu may turn deadly after Tsuri-Sen'nin orders his disciples to kill the Kame-Sen'nin disciples.
