At seventeen, Wendy Everly learns that she is actually a changeling troll, who must be returned to her rightful home, where she learns she is the princess of the Trylle tribe and will become queen. With the threat of war looming, Wendy must fight to protect her people from their enemies and make difficult choices in the best interest of the Trylle.
