A dog-friendly town

When Carmelito, California, is named America's Number One Dog-Friendly Town, twelve-year-old Epic McDade and his family are thrilled. Their dog-friendly bed-and-breakfast fills up quickly when a week-long celebration comes to town, that includes celebrity dog, Sir Bentley. Things take a turn for the worse when Sir Bentley's jewel-encrusted dog collar goes missing, so Epic, his younger siblings Rondo and Elvis, and his friends investigate the purported crime to solve the mystery.
