Miranda Tennant, hiding a tragic secret, hopes to lose herself in York, England, and avoid the ghosts said to haunt the quaint city, and meeting Nick, a mysterious and intense boy, proves a welcome distraction until her interest is captured by another, even more handsome boy, in a house across from hers, who seems to be trying to give her a message.
