Lord Foul's bane

Thomas Covenant, an outcast in his community after contracting leprosy, is involved in an accident and wakes up in an alternate world in which he is regarded as a reincarnation of the magical hero Berek Halfhand, come to protect the land from the evil Lord Foul.
