Shades of earth

Amy, Elder, and the other humans who have traveled twenty-five trillion miles to Centauri-Earth are ready to disembark--at last--and begin building their new colony. From the start they meet unexpected obstacles--plants with mind-numbing toxins, dangerous pterodactyl-like creatures, and worse, the presence of some unknown intelligence. The humans are not alone, and will have to fight for their new colony.
