Four friends--homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer, medical examiner Claire Washburn, assistant district attorney Jill Bernhardt, and crime reporter Cindy Thomas--team up to track down a killer who has been stalking newlyweds in San Francisco, but their investigation goes terribly wrong.
