Wesley Smith, an English professor at a Kentucky college, purchases an e-book reader but receives a unique edition with a "UR" function which allows him to search multiple universes to collect data, but Smith is most surprised when he uncovers literature and disturbing news articles that have been published in an alternate dimension.
