Beach boy

Eight-year-old Cyrus Readymoney strays from his mostly absent upper-class parents into an exploration of Bombay in the 1970s, consorting with mysterious neighbors, and experiencing Hindi films, and forbidden foods; but he is wrenched from his childhood when his parents announce their intention to divorce.
