The last monster

Thirteen-year-old Sofia has always felt different and alone, and surviving the cancer that left her with a prosthetic leg has only deepened that sense. But when she comes into possession of an ancient book that acts as a portal for the Greek philosopher Xeno, she finds herself serving as the Guardian, protector of monsters. And life as she once knew it, will never be the same.
