The hush

Ten years after the events that changed his life and made him famous, Johnny Merrimon lives alone on 6,000 acres, attempting to maintain his privacy and sanity. His only link to his old life is Jack, his childhood friend. However, when Jack visits Johnny's secluded home, he senses danger in the wild places, a darkness and hunger, and evil intent. Johnny won't listen to Jack, but Jack is a true and persistent friend.
