Confessions of a high school disaster

Chloe Snow's mother--who moved to Mexico in order to finish her novel and might not come back--told her that the only thing worse than remembering sad things is forgetting, so Chloe decides to keep a diary of her high school experiences. She confesses that she has never had a first kiss, that her best friend is driving her insane, that she loves the off-limits Mac Brody who already has a girlfriend, and that her dad won't stop asking if she is okay.
