The not-so-uniform life of Holly-Mei

Holly-Mei Jones is moving to Hong Kong for her mother's job, and she can't wait for seventh grade in a new school, a new apartment, and a new city. But things don't go quite as planned, and Holly-Mei finds herself facing a whole new set of rules and expectations as well as a frenemy in the form of the most popular girl in school. To make matters worse, she can't even turn to her loving Ah-ma, who stayed behind in Toronto. Luckily, with the help of her cousins and some new friends, Holly-Mei finds a way to navigate her elite private school and a new city.
