A meek adventure

Agnes would rather avoid the bullies and her mean teacher instead of sticking up for herself. But after she eats a bad hot dog at a roadside diner, she gets sick and locks herself in a walk-in freezer. She discovers a portal to a strange world, and that she's been turned into a meerkat! If Agnes wants to return home, she'll have to go on a wild adventure. Will Agnes find the courage to be brave and stop hiding? Aligned to Common Core Standards and correlated to state standards.
