Wires crossed

As twelve-year-old Mia enters middle school, she feels sandwiched between all the changes going on around her, including her best friend Addy pulling away from her to explore the school's social scene and her science camp friend Tariq suddenly becoming a soccer star. If there's one thing the STEM-minded Mia is looking forward to, it's the Science Olympiad, and when she's paired up with Tariq, artsy Kinsey, and goofy Evan, she will have ample opportunity to explore the angst of friendship, jealousy, and identity, all while trying to build a robot.
