To conjure a killer

Becca Colwin is on her way home from work at Charm and Cherish when she follows a stray kitten down an alley to a dead body. The police find a connection between Becca and the victim, putting Becca under suspicion. It seems Becca's cheating ex, Jeff, is working on a new type of spyware and now Becca is involved. Fortunately, her new kitten seems to have powers that could help Becca find the killer and clear her name.
