Superman flies to Pluto with a rescue vehicle to save stranded astronauts, and when Kanjar Ro attacks, the Man of Steel finds that he is weakened by his travel at such a great distance from the Sun and may not be able to defeat the alien invader.

A scientist on Krypton realizes that his world faces total destruction and sends his son into space, and when the child's rocket lands in a Kansas cornfield, the baby is discovered by a farmer and his wife, who learn of the boy's strange powers.

Reporter Lois Lane discovers that the evil Lex Luthor has created his own tame Superman, Bizzaro Superman. The confuse creature captures Lois and sets out on a path of destruction and the real Superman must save Lois and stop Bizzaro before he destroys Metropolis.

While Superman is busy trying to stop a series of crazy crimes, Lex Luthor attempts to get his hands on a space probe containing a large kryptonite meteor.

After a series of earthquakes occur across the planet, several students on a field trip become trapped within a crumbling mountain, and after Superman tries to rescue them, tremors reveal a large piece of kryptonite, which leaves Superman to rely on help from a child.

Abra Kadabra returns to Earth with plans to use his mind-control machine to brainwash the planet and take over as ruler, and when he captures Superman to utilize the him as the power source for his weapon, the Man of Steel must find a way to escape and shut down the machine.

Evil Mala distracts Superman long enough for her partner, Jax-Ur, to disguise himself as Superman and terrorize humanity. Now Superman must find a way to win back humanity's trust and defeat the evil pair.

When the Prankster gets out of prison and promises to change his life around by starting a new television show featuring teens who perform practical jokes, it quickly becomes apparent to Superman that the pranks are actually previews for crimes, and he sends Jimmy Olsen to look into the matter.
