Shaman king

The world's shamans gather in Tokyo for the Shaman Fight, a tournament held once every 500 years to determine who will be the next Shaman King. When Silva, an officiant of the Shaman Fight, challenges Yoh to enter, he does so with the help of his friend Amidamaru. As Yoh faces off against his first opponents: Horohoro and Faust VIII, he begins to realize just how difficult this competition will be. He begins training with Anna, his fianc?e and coach, but he soon begins to wonder if it's all too much for him to handle.

In a world where shamans have the power to speak with spirits, gods, and the dead, high schooler Manta Oyamada finds his class's new transfer student from the faraway Izumo, Yoh Asakura, is training to become a shaman. Yoh is just starting out, but he has big dreams--he hopes one day to become the Shaman King and be able to communicate with the Great Spirit, thereby making the world a better place. However, the road to reach here will be long and troublesome, and Yoh will need friends and companions to help him prepare for the Shaman Fight, which he needs to win to to earn the title.
