Manta, still in shock over the death of Niles, fears for Yoh's safety as he and Team Funbari square off against the formidable Icemen in the continuing quest to win the title of Shaman King.
Yoh and his friends have been dropped in the middle of nowhere and must now find their way through the desert of the American Southwest to Patch Village for the Shaman Fight, but run afoul of a Native American shaman who says the Patch are evil and he will kill anyone who helps fulfill their plans.
Traveling through a mountain range on their way to Patch Village, the site of the Shaman Fight's main competition, Horohoro's spirit ally, Kororo, runs away, and Yoh and his gang find themselves battling Hao's evil minions.
