The crouching dragon

Fourteen-year-old William, having befriended a former professor and World War II resistance fighter who is living in an abandoned castle on a hill above the town of Bonville in French Normandy in 1959, takes refuge in the castle, along with the rest of the town's teenagers, and leads a revolt against a local criminal cartel and the greed of their own families and local authorities.
