Teen witch Faye Faulkner is unpopular, spends her lunch period with her best friends, the high school's other social rejects, and ignores taunts from the cool kids. But when Cody, a lonely freshman, finds her way to Faye's cafeteria table, it sets off a peculiar chain of events: a series of pranks swiftly go from mischievous to downright dangerous, and no one is safe. When things start to really get out of hand, Cody confesses to Faye that she signed up for a social media challenge that promises popularity to those who follow the demands of influencer Shy Shelbi. Faye decides to help, but Shelbi is much more than she seems. Faye hopes her witchcraft will be enough to defeat her.
