When the Fleischman Middle School's mascot, Principal Snider's dog Champ, disappears from his kennel before the big basketball game, most of the students think that the door was left unlatched, but Carlos, one of the four friends of Snoops, Inc., is convinced that someone took him--and it is up to the junior detectives to solve the mystery.
